4-Man Maintenance Vehicle with 1.6-Ton Front Crane

Brookville recently completed one of two 10-ton 4-man maintenance vehicles equipped with a 1.6-ton front crane for Consol Energy-Robison Run in West Virginia.

The multifunctional abilities of this diesel maintenance vehicle include carrying persons, lifting and moving items with the crane, and also pulling wagons/loads or a fuel buffalo though the mine. Incorporating these abilities into one unit makes work more efficient and mines more productive.

The crane is operated by remote control with a 20’ wired extension, allowing the operator the ability to control the crane from various distances. The crane boom has multiple length options ranging from 6’ – 14’. (Watch the featured video to see the crane in action.)

This 4-man with crane vehicle is equipped with a 100hp diesel engine, planetary axles, liquid cooled brakes, chevron suspension, willison couplers, pneumatic sanders, fire suppression system, and the JackWalker® re-railing system.

Unit Dimensions:
Width: 89”
Length (w/o coupler): 270”
Height: 50”
Track Gauge: 42”
Wheelbase: 100”
